Tai Kwun: In Bloom

Key Visual Production

Tai Kwun launched the creative market In Bloom to celebrate the arrival of Spring in Hong Kong. Our creative agency Capsule48 provided key visuals, venue design, and full production of the event, including management of the event on-site.

Inspired by the new life that comes with the changing seasons, In Bloom’s visuals feature the bold and striking details that nature can reveal, if you are so lucky.

6 Months of Pre-production,
4 days of Festivity

Just like a blooming flower, the seeds of the event were sown long before its opening date. The pre-production of the event started half a year before its launch, during which every detail was worked out in collaboration with Tai Kwun’s marketing team. During the festivity, local florists and lifestyle brands displayed their beautiful and artistic floral creations while sharing ideas and practices of sustainability.

Locally Inspired Key Visuals

Our art direction team worked closely together with local artist, Helen Wong, to produce the key visuals for In Bloom. Painterly techniques were employed to create a uniquely tactile key visual that emphasized the hand-made creativity that goes on display each year at the event. The same artwork was used to adorn the stalls and bunting on display, unifying the look and feel of the entire market. In Bloom is organized every year by Tai Kwun, and still continues to champion local creativity in Hong Kong each spring.
