Hong Kong hasn’t been the same since Bakehouse landed in Wan Chai in 2018. Founded by Gregoire Michaud, the bakery has just opened its fifth venue in Hong Kong.

But at the root of the company is a desire to make great bread accessible for everyone, at any price. Bread Pantry is Gregoire’s brand of “supermarket bread” that ships out daily from the company’s central kitchen in Chai Wan.

As Bakehouse’s content agency partner, Capsule48 created a series of videos showcasing recipes from Gregoire, as well as an overall brand video for Bread Pantry.

Client: Bakehouse
Production House: Capsule48
Service: Video Production
Location: Hong Kong
Period: Q1 2022

For the last decade, Bakehouse has taken Hong Kong by storm, expanding rapidly with their delicious assortment of artisanal breads and pastries. To address the demand, they launched Bread Pantry, a new line of toaster-ready breads widely available across the city.

At Bakehouse’s Bread Pantry, bread is life. Although it may seem simple, bread is actually multifaceted and complex depending on how you bake it. We wanted to show this food staple in all its glory: fluffy, chewy, fresh, crispy, white, brown, full of holes etc. This is bread a million miles away from your typical supermarket loaf.
